Amboseli National Park is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons and the back drop of Mt Kilimanjaro. Aberdare National Park covers an area of 766 square kilometers and forms part of the Aberdare Mountain Range. The park contains a wide range of landscapes – from the mountain peaks that rise to 14,000 feet (4,300 m) above sea level, to their deep, v-shaped valleys intersected by streams, rivers, and waterfalls. Lake Nakuru: View Reticulated Giraffes, Waterbucks and Rhino’s before lunch at Lake Nakuru high picnic point. Lake Nakuru hosts thousands of Flamingos striking down to feed on the Lake’s shores. Lake Naivasha: Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus with Hippos lazing in the lake and Buffalos grazing on the shores. Bird watching includes Grey-capped Warbler, Spectacled Weaver, Brimstone Canary, Red-billed Fire finch and 350 other species. Maasai Mara is Kenya’s most celebrated game park, it offers the possibility of seeing “the big five” and many other species of game.

Day 01: Nairobi
On arrival at JKIA, you will be met at the airport by our wild gate safaris representative and later after the safari briefing, transfer to the city hotel, Nairobi Safari Club. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure all the while enjoying the facilities of the hotel.

Day 02: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Drive across the Athi plains home of the proud Maasai tribe, to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive is planned. In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and the elusive leopard, nearly every vista within the park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.
Overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or Sentrim Amboseli.

Day 03: Amboseli National Park
Today we enjoy a game drive to the secluded heart of big game country. In addition to Elephant, Antelope, Zebra, Wildebeest, Buffalo and Lions, nearly every vista within the Park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Breakfast at the lodge; optional visit to a Maasai Village is planned after breakfast. Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another extensive PM game drive.

Day 04: Amboseli National Park– Aberdares National Park
After breakfast, depart for Abedares National Park Cross the Kenyan Highlands, through pineapple and coffee plantations, to your “base hotel” in time for lunch at Aberdare Country Club/Out span. Afternoon transfer into Aberdare National Park and on to The Tree Lodges for bird watching and overnight floodlit game viewing from the lodge viewing decks.
Dinner and overnight at The Ark Lodge / Treetops Lodge.

Day 05: Aberdares National Park – Nakuru National Park
At 0830hrs, after breakfast, return to the base hotel. Reconnect with your driver for a drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arriving in time for lunch at L.Nakuru Sopa Lodge.
Afternoon game viewing at Lake Nakuru high picnic view point, where your will get a glimpse of Lake Nakuru’s thousands of Flamingos striking down to feed on the Lake’s shores, view the Reticulated Giraffes, Waterbucks and Rhino’s before lunch Return to the hotel.
Have dinner and overnight stay at L.Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

Day 06: L. Nakuru National Park – L. Naivasha
Early breakfast then drive to Kenya’s highest lake at 1880 m above sea level, Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus with Hippos lazing in the lake and Buffalos grazing on the shores. Bird watching includes Grey-capped Warbler, Spectacled Weaver, Brimstone Canary, Red-billed Fire finch and 350 other species.
Optional boat trips on the lake or a nature walk on crescent Island where you reach Wildebeest, Zebra and Giraffes from close, for extra charges.
Have lunch, dinner and overnight stay at L.Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 07: L. Naivasha- Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After an early morning breakfast, we depart for Masai Mara in the Narok county. Arriving at midday, thus, spend the time at leisure enjoying the lodges’ facilities while awaiting lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game drives will follow.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge/ Sentrim Lodge.

Day 08: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Full day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5.Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe; over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.

Day 09: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi

At 0800hrs breakfast at leisure, at 1000hrs depart for Nairobi to arrive by 1300 hrs and in time for lunch at the carnivore Restaurant/Sentrim 680 hotel. After lunch proceed to the hotel / JKIA for a scheduled flight where the safari ends.
